I think that this is a very stunning and well done piece of artwork. You had a good idea, and you executed it nicely. I got this impression of happiness and serenity upon looking at this picture for the first time. I feel like that girl is definitely a pretty happy person, and I bet you, as the artist,are a pretty happy person as well.

The colours pop, and the way you used them make this work more interesting. I especially like the way you did the shading on her dress. The way that it kind of goes from this pretty solid light blue with more sharp shading to a more bubbly slightly more blended in, darker blue is amazing and then when you add the yellow going down into the ground behind her, just WOW. I am absolutely amazed by it! You made excellent use of colours, blending and contrast to catch the viewers' eye. I also like the way the hair flows.

Now onto things you can work on. I would work on faces more. I do realize that drawing a face from the side is really hard, but I can't help but notice that her head does look kind of funny. I think the problem is that it is a teeny bit too tall and her lack of lips make her look a little manly to me? I also would have shaded the legs more.

I feel that this girl is a very confident girl, even down to the way she is walking. This picture definitely conveys that message of confidence, happiness and fearlessness, at least. It makes me think of flowers and how they always appear bright and cheerful, up to the day they wilt away. I think that by making this you are trying to get the message across that there is always a reason to be happy and to always be confident in yourself.

I think that this was definitely a successful work of art because the proportions are pretty accurate and everything, up to the colours just flow nicely. It is interesting and creative. This is also pretty unique. The idea itself isn't all that unique, but the way you executed this piece made it unique. The colours, especially. I definitely think this is an accurate depiction of your skills, as well. In fact, this is one of your best works. If I had the money, I would definitely buy this and hang it on my wall, but I also really like anime and manga so keep that in mind. Not everyone is going to want to hang a person up on their wall. This painting heavily inspires me and just makes me want to draw pretty things all day long. It is definitely a good representation of manga, and it makes me want to try out the watercolouring technique that you pulled off so nicely.

All in all, nice work! I am excited to see more from you in the future! Never keep drawing because you have talent. Don't lose it.
